Lars Pluto

With arguably one of the best names in show business, Lars Pluto brings his incredible voice and stage presence to Rhinestone Cowboy: The Glen Campbell Story. Lars was born just outside Atlanta, Georgia, into a family that toured as a Southern Baptist Gospel Bluegrass group. After living in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Michigan, he spent a decade in New York performing in various country and rockabilly bands before moving to London. There, he appeared in several West End productions as Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison, all while writing, recording, and performing with rockabilly band The Boom Boom Booms and his own original country combo, Lars Pluto & the Reavers. His song Dear Country Music enjoyed success on the UK country singles chart, and he has performed at numerous festivals and venues across the UK. In 2019, Lars had the pleasure of touring Australia and New Zealand with the theatre show Nashville Live, a tribute to the biggest stars of country music, celebrating the energy and atmosphere of an evening in Music City. More recently, he completed two tours of Canada with the Legends show, delivering a captivating portrayal of Johnny Cash. This year, Lars will also be touring the UK with Country Hits Live and starring in another Plutonium Stage Productions show, The Everly Brothers By Candlelight as well as taking Rhinestone Cowboy back to the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh following a successful run there in 2024.
Jane has had a lifelong passion for performing, starting early on with ballet and other forms of dance which led to a love of musical theatre, singing and dancing in shows such as Crazy for You, Me & My Girl, The Hot Mikado and Chess, to name a few. Several years in London’s West End followed, with the shows Ghost The Musical, Hairspray, Dirty Dancing, Grease and Rain Man. She was delighted to join Lars on a tour of Canada, singing the songs of Johnny Cash and June Carter. Jane also performs in Plutonium's "The Everly Brothers by Candlelight".

PAUL SILVER
Keys
Paul is a composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, saxophonist and keyboard player based in London. He has written a diverse range of work for film and TV and draws on 20 years of experience working as an in demand performer and studio musician. This February saw the release of Husband, a new film by Josh Appignanesi and Devorah Baum. Paul collaborated with Josh Appignanesi to write the score. It features Paul (saxophones) and Jason Cooper of The Cure (drums) as part of the jazz sextet who bring the score to life. Paul has toured extensively around the world and his live work has seen him perform with artists as diverse as The Hold Steady, Deneise Williams and Pete Tong and The Heritage Orchestra to name a few. As musical director, Paul has led tours across the UK, Europe and America. He has contributed to records spanning an array of genres and continues to write bespoke music for production libraries and global advertising campaigns.

PHIL BLOOMBERG
Bass
Phil Bloomberg, also known as Phil Polecat, is best known for his work with the rockabilly band The Polecats who gained prominence in the early 1980s with their energetic blend of rockabilly and punk influences. They achieved UK chart success with their cover of David Bowie's "John, I'm Only Dancing," which reached No. 35 in 1981. Other notable tracks include a reworked version of "Rockabilly Guy" and a cover of T-Rex's "Jeepster." Beyond his tenure with The Polecats, Phil has been involved with many other musical projects, including playing with Katy Prado & The Mamboleros. He is also credited as a composer for the film "Isle of Dogs" (2010). Throughout his career, Phil has been recognised for his dynamic double bass playing and contributions to the rockabilly genre.

OLLIE DIXON
Percussion
Currently based in London, Ollie is an in demand player and educator who has toured and recorded all around the world at the best studios and on the best stages. Growing up in a highly musical family, Ollie was exposed to anything from Musical Theatre, Brass Band and Metal culminating in an eclectic music taste that comes through in his playing. After relocating to London in 2013 and graduating from BIMM London in 2016, Ollie has gone on to build a unique and exciting career as a live player. In 2016 he joined singer-songwriter Lawrence Taylor on two North American tours and a European tour visiting the United States, Canada, Holland and Germany as well as the BBC Introducing stage at Reading + Leeds. He also recorded the single ‘Tag Team’ with Lawrence at the renowned Rockfield Studio in South Wales which is nearly at 1,000,000 streams. Also in 2016, he joined the famous collective The Beekays, house band at the Blues Kitchen venues in London. Ollie has been notably active in the UK Blues scene for a number of years, joining artists such as guitar virtuoso Ben Poole, legendary singer-songwriters Stevie Nimmo, Sean Webster, Jack J Hutchinson and Matt Pearce as well as Spanish Blues Rock artist Susan Santos touring extensively in the UK and Europe. Recently Ollie returned to BIMM London as a lecturer to share his experience and expertise teaching live workshops for the performance degree, specialising in the Rock/Metal genres, as well as private teaching.

Guitar
Andy is based in London and plays with The Moonshine Stalkers and Mad Sin. He is endorsed by Gretch and Black Star Amps.
